    • 5:30 pm

      • (Off Week. Next Ride July 11) Reno Tahoe Junior Cycling & Reno Devo are holding their third youth club ride of the summer. • Reno Wheelmen are hosting their Twilight Road Series Cold Springs Team Time Trial race. This is a group effort against the clock on a paved road course. Four riders work in a draft line to beat the wind and the clock twice around a 7 mile look. If you don’t have a team of 4, that’s ok. Race organizers are making teams based on skill level for riders who still want to race. Come on out to the start/finish line to cheer riders on or race. Races are run in the order Beginner (Category C), Intermediate (Category B), and then Advanced (Category A) with checkin beginning at 5pm. There is onsite registration. More details and registration link can be found on their event website here.

  • 5:30 pm

    • Tuesday Night Ride Group (TNRG) are riding from the Galena Creek Regional Park South Entrance (Use “Camp We-Ch-Me” for gps directions). If you are new to TNRG rides, there is no mass start so bring a friend or introduce yourself to who ever is around when you set off. Ride as long as you like. Most TNRG rides will have an after ride social at the start point so if you want to join in, pay attention to the flow of riders heading back. Check their Facebook Group Page for the most current updates.

  • 5:45 pm

    • Silver State Striders are running trails out of the Thomas Creek Horse Trailer parking lot with options of ~6 or ~9 miles. Meeting at the North end of Timberline road where the bathrooms and large gravel parking is. More details on their website.

This is an out and back with social pace on the out and choose your own adventure pace on the way back. Lights, including rear red, and reflective attire suggested as well as be prepared to service your own flats should that happen.

      • (Off Week. Next Race July 06) Reno Tahoe Junior Cycle/ Reno Devo is holding the last round of the Wednesday Night Worlds Short Track Cross Country mountain bike race at Sky Tavern. The funds raised by entries go toward local youth athletes training and racing. Registration closes Monday nights on the event website here.
