Trail Conditions:

Mixed to Dry.

Clouds have stayed around the top of Mahogany Forest and Golden Fleece preventing any drying. Expect greasy to peanut butter conditions above 2nd bench. Mid and lower elevation trails are ranging from barely damp to isolated puddles and will change quickly as storm cells move through today (Thursday).

Very high mountain bike traffic expected in the Hoge Rd, Keystone Canyon, Poedunk, Total Recall, and Fisticuffs loop from 3pm to sunset. There is a race on Fisticuffs this afternoon.

Rain in the forecast through Fri.

Galena area trails are hero dirt with patchy snow around Dry Pond elevations.

Carson area trails are excellent.
