Weekend Outlook 4/16-4/18, 2021

As the good book of Peavine says “In the desert, in the spring, it snoweth. And it raineth. And it all drieth before the website can get updateth.”

In other words, snow… what snow? Or as our recent trail report says:

• 4/14/21 6pm Total Recall up to Colpa Canyon down to Stagecoach was all dry and in good shape. -Matthew S.

And my dawn patrol loop up Keystone to First Bench and down Stage Coach confirmed the same. Dry. Barely a hint that we got a solid soaking this past midweek.

Looking into the weekend, it’s all sunshine. Absolutely perfect conditions to get out on the mountain. So go hike, run, ride, or whatever and enjoy! I could see the ribbon of snow above mahogany bench from first bench and it’s getting pretty skinny. Considering the recent weather conditions and general drying trend, I’m going to mark the whole mountain as dry on the front page.
