Trail Outlook

What a weekend we have coming up! Nevada Day holiday, halloween, local cyclocross races, AND the battle for the Fremont cannon (GO PACK!). AND AND that lovely nearly three inches of water that came down is starting to firm up trail treads everywhere so we may be looking at brown pow conditions all over the valley and sunshine galore. Overnight temps will stay above freezing for trailhead elevations, winds are expected to stay low, and humidity will be high so expect soft spots on protected slopes and the potential for peanut butter conditions as you approach snow patches. Otherwise, we are looking at a great weekend to get outside. If you get out, let us know what you saw by submitting a trail report.

Be kind, be safe, and enjoy.
