      • The Holland Project, Craft Wine & Beer, and Reno Bike Project’s annual Tri-lab block party at Craft Wine & Beer’s shop (22 Martin Street, Reno). This is a great event free to the community. There will be light food and drink available for purchase as well as a commemorative limited edition beer, raffles, and swag. For more information, check out Holland Project’s event website.

    • 5:45 pm

      • Silver State Striders are running from the Jones/Whites Creek Trailhead for ~9 miles depending on route options. More details on their website.

  • Saturday, June 11:

    • 8:00 am

      • Silver State Striders are not organizing a Saturday run this week. Members are encouraged to organize their own group activities. More details on their Facebook Group Page.

    • 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

      • High Sierra Cycling Mountain Bike Festival at Sky Tavern. Sky Tavern is building more trails than ever and this will be a great opportunity to try new trails on a new bike. Demos, shuttles… you know, all the festival goodies. More details available on their event website here.

Trail Outlook

We have a hot weekend outlook with a chance of rain and thunderstorms Sunday midday. The temps will come down and wind is supposed to pickup alongside the possible storm. Otherwise, calm and hot. Stay hydrated, slather on the sunscreen, and enjoy!

If you get out, let us know what you saw by submitting a trail report.

Be kind, be safe, and enjoy.

Top to bottom dry.
