Trail Outlook

Wind today, dry and cool this weekend. While we are looking at some unsettled weather soon, currently it looks like that won’t really get over the sierra crest until early next week. That means that after this bluster today, we will mostly have cloud cover and cool with some very localized trace precipitation. A really nice weekend overall to be out and moving about. And the upside of today’s wind is drying on shaded slopes. While most everything has firmed up by now, this should wick the last of the surface moisture on remaining wet spots such that there are no more soft spots this weekend. If you get out, let us know what you saw by submitting a trail report.

Be kind, be safe, and enjoy.
