Trail Outlook

Beautiful weekend. Temperatures will back off just a bit from the weekday highs and no precipitation or lightning is expected. Saturday midday to evening is expected to get a bit gusty coming out of the South-West so most city facing peavine trails including Sierra Vista Bike Park are likely to be a bit blustery. There is also a fire weather watch Saturday afternoon due to the hazardous combination of dryness and wind. It’s a good time to do something with low sparking hazard so we can keep this streak of smoke free days going. If you want to escape the heat and cheer on some determined kids, head up to North Tahoe High School on Sunday. Those kids are amazing to watch and would love a good rowdy crowd cheering them along. Have an excellent weekend!

If you get out, let us know what you saw by submitting a trail report.

Be kind, be safe, and enjoy.

Top to bottom dry.
