Update: Trail Reopened June 2, 2023

Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) has closed the Tahoe Pyramid Trail segment between the Verdi Railroad crossing at the south end of Quilici Ranch Road and the Fleish Suspension Bridge. Deep Creek has overflowed its banks and is pushing enough water across the trail to sweep away trail users. There is no alternative route for this section of trail so until further notice, the trail does not connect between Verdi and Farad.
Combined with the current heavy machinery work just north of Floriston, trail users can travel as far north as Floriston coming from Tahoe or as far south as Verdi coming from Reno. Users parking at Farad can only travel out and back in either direction without reaching the adjoining access points.
