Is Peavine Dry?

Upcoming Events 8/09-8/15

It’s kind of amazing how sweet the breeze felt sunday evening. This smoke can get oppressive. If your house is getting smokey, I have some good news. I’ve been testing different fans and filters in our garage with an air particulate sensor and even your low cost big box store home HVAC filters (at least their top rates ones), make a reasonable dent in the pm2.5 levels. Some mornings I’ve seen well over 150 micrograms/liter on the sensor and within a half hour of a regular old box fan pushing air into a filter, the reading has dropped into the 60s. If you have a little more budget, the home air filters that have a HEPA rated filter will get it even better, but if you already have a box fan and some bungie cords, this is a $25 solution that can take the edge off.
