Weekday Trail Outlook and Upcoming Events 11/15-11/21

Clear Skies and Trails

The skiing may suck right now, but the trails are all clear and open. Nothing in the midweek forecast suggesting that will change. Keep doing what you do and pack a light and reflective clothing if you’re out in the evening.

Sierra Vista Pump Track Fundraising

It’s time to go round and round and up and down. And I’m not talking about trying to find parking at Keystone on a Saturday. I’m talking PUMP TRACK! Yup, after the survey results about Sierra Vista Park were so clearly in favor, the fundraising has begun. To donate and for more information, click through to the GoFundMe site.

Youth Job Training Opportunity

  • Reno Bike Project has begun recruitment for the upcoming FutureCycle cohort, to begin in January 2022. Specifically, the organization is looking for six youth, ages 16-24. Preferred candidates are those who think bikes can change lives, are interested in teaching, aren’t afraid to get dirty or afraid of a challenge, communicate well, are curious and excited to learn, and are fully COVID-19 vaccinated. Applications are due by December 20. Link for more info: https://renobikeproject.org/program/futurecycle/
